The
City of Pasadena proudly begins each New Year with
the popularly known Tournament of Roses Parade.
Professionally
designed floats travel a 5.5 mile route down on
Colorado Boulevard. The parade is enjoyed by over
one million people who camp overnight, along
Colorado sidewalk on New Year's Eve, to get the
best seating for such an outstanding event. Many
others join by watching the parade on television.
Dignitaries, out-of-state marching bands, and
equestrian units join in to add to this exciting
parade.
